The current regulations state that every employer shall appoint one or more competent persons to assist him in undertaking the measures he needs to take to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed upon him.
The regulations further state that a person shall be regarded as competent for the purposes of the regulations where he/she has sufficient training and experience or knowledge and other qualities to enable him properly to assist an employer.

Attend site/meetings/tours/inspections in the presence of any member of a regulating body or the Client Insurers relating to Health and Safety to the operations at the Clients address, or as agreed and directed by the Client direct report.
